Preparations for the earth oven have started apace. Mr Greedy Gardener doesn’t do things by halves and I’m really busy with some gainful employment so he is doing all the labouring and I’m offering encouragement and aesthetic guidance from a safe distance.
The raspberries have been relocated and the chickens excluded. The small triangular bed will be planted up later, probably with herbs. A double layer of weed proof membrane is on the soil and will be covered with gravel. The oven itself will sit to the left.
